Make a committed effort to consume 4-6 regular meals each day. Ideally 1 meal every 2.5 - 3 hours (while avoiding going longer than 4 awakened hours without a meal, and avoiding a meal within 30-45 minutes of bed time) Consume these meals in the following pattern. 1. Breakfast (as close as possible to immediately upon awakening) 2. Snack 3. Lunch 4. Snack 5. Dinner 6. Snack
When it comes to the bigger and certainly the most effective aspect of nutrition it is most important that one have their D.C.I (daily caloric intake) calculated by an experienced individual in this area. The next step would be to determine the individual's A.M.T (appropriate macro-nutrient totals) meaning the precise amount of proteins, carbs, and fats within the DCI, needed to ensure that quickest and most maximum results.
In closing, it is imperative that one realize that there is no one size fits all regarding the DCI and/or the AMT.
Furthermore, once these numbers have been carefully calculated and implemented one still must remain cognizant of the fact that a nutritional plan is identical to a training program in that regardless to how good it may be, it must be strategically adjusted and supplemented in order to avoid plateaus in weight loss and/or lean mass gain. At Mount Fitness these strategic adjustments and supplementations are included in the initial cost of the meal plan.
